Vintage German maps-travel brochures-1970's-During the Cold War.
This is a great vintage lot of 26 travel maps, guides and hotel brochures from Germany and Austria. These date to the early 1970's, when Germany was still a split country. There are 2 different travel guides for The Federal Republic of Germany. There are 2 road maps, which show a dividing line between East and West Germany. There are also several hotel brochures, postcards, etc from various locations around Germany and also in Austria. Also included is a Germany road rules book!
This is a great lot for any collector of travel memorabilia! The maps are in pretty good shape. One map has a couple of tears along fold lines but they aren't huge. Also, on that same map, it looks like pencil marks to trace their route from Frankfurt to Nurenberg. Otherwise I didn't see any other markings.
