Vintage German Kobolzeller Tor Heinrich Kissing 575 Menden Souvenir Medallion

Vintage German Kobolzeller Tor Old Gated City Heinrich Kissing 575 Menden Souvenir 3D relief Medallion. It measures approximately 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".
Not sure of what metal this is cast from exactly but it does have a copper finish under the tarnish. I scratched the surface a bit and looks like copper plating over some base metal. It's fairly heavy for it's size. Condition is "Used". It has two hooks but is missing the chain to hang it from.

This came from my grandmother's estate and was probably obtained back in the 1940s.
