    Description

For sale is a really neat and unusual vintage German Bierstube banner from 1969/1970. This looks like something that would have hung in a bar or tavern for Oktoberfest or similar festival/celebration. It was manufactured by Paradise Products, Inc. Some of the pages have the 1969 year on them and others have 1970. Completely stretched out, strings and all as shown down the hallway in the last photo, this banner measures approximately 15 feet long! The 9 individual pages are 10" x 11" and are constructed from a thick paper/lightweight cardboard material and feature images of the German Coat of Arms flag, the Brunswick flag, Bierstube (which translates to a German tavern or beer hall) w/ an image of a beer stein, as well as one page with the image of two jolly fellas dancing. It is quite unbelievable that this banner still exists and even more surprising that it's basically still in one piece. The string along the top has detached from the paper in a few spots, which could be reattached/glued if desired, and there are a few small tears, marks/stains, but overall, not bad for being over 50 years old at this point.
This banner would display great in someone's home bar or man cave if you have the space for it.
