    Description

    Romanian M44 barrel dated 1954 in used fair condition
    Romania made these for two years from 1954 to 1955
    I was unable to change the WW2 from the mosin description
    They are very uncommon. I was surprised when I bought it when I checked it’s markings. You can see
    “RPR” directly above the date stamp. It has some marks at its base near the breech where someone tried to wrench on it. Still in decent shape though.
    Good rifling with no pitting. As it was after WW2 it did not see the use the same use as wartime examples.
