100% genuine, approximately 8" x 3.5" unit memorandum from the 330 Guards "Red Banner" Rifle Regiment/129 Guards Rifle Division, identifying bearer Guards Master Sergeant Valentin Mikhailovich Zhivotyagin as a member of the regiment's supply section. Document also authorizes his carry of Tokarev pistol # VZh 53646. Document issued 7 AUG 45 and valid through end of year. At the time the unit was a subordinate unit of the 4th Ukrainian Front on occupation duty in south central/eastern Europe.
