LOT of 11 Vintage FASCHING MEDAL Medallions PENDANTS Carnival GERMANY Dusseldorf

One the the best assortments of fasching / fasnet medallions for your consideration. I used to live in Germany where the Carnival (Karneval) parades were held throughout various regions and the club leaders or grand marshalls would have special large Karneval medallion that they would wear as they began the parade. These types of mediallions were considered the highest honor to have and to wear. I have 11 of these stunning very large parade medallions, one alone would be hard to find but I have 11 and several are from Dusseldorf, one of the most celebrated cities of Karnival / Karneval / Carnival. (so many spellings!)
They measure between 4.5" tall to 5.75" tall. Most depict the year of Carnival so they would be worn for one season of these parades and then no more. The each have nice fabric ribbon and one is metal chain. A very collectable piece of German history.
