Hello and thank you for stopping by!! I bought this adorable barn coat for my grandson last year; and unfortunately, he had a growth spurt before he could get enough use out of it, and I don’t have anymore small grandkids.
This navy blue coat is very well made and was very well taken care of. There are no stains, cuts, or tears (believe it or not...haha). I did notice that, in a couple of pictures, it looks like the lining is stained. That’s just bad lighting. It isn’t stained at all.
It’s heavy enough to stay warm, but not so heavy or bulky that it’s uncomfortable.
The zipper works perfectly and has no rust on it. It also has snap closures over the zipper.
The cuffs have buttons to make them tighter if you need to, and the collar has one as well to keep the cold air or wind away from the neck.
It has four nice pockets, all in front, that have working snaps to keep them closed.
There is also an extra button sewed into the very nice blue plaid lining.
One of my favorite things about this coat are the brown corduroy elbow patches. It’s separate material sewn onto the sleeves, and there is no indication whatsoever that the thread is coming out. The collar has the same brown corduroy on one side.
I am so impressed with the quality of this coat, I wish I had one exactly like it in my size. By the way, the tag says it’s a size SMALL (6-7), but it’s a pretty big small...just wanted to mention that.
