Fostoria CENTURY (#2630) 3-Pint Ice Jug/Pitcher w/ Heather Plate Etching (#343)

Description

Fostoria introduced the Century pattern (#2630) in 1949, and by 1950 it was developed into a full dinnerware line, soon becoming a workhorse for Fostoria.
Items from this popular and collectible pattern were produced until 1982.
Offered here is a scarce 3-pint ice jug.
It was made around 1952 and is decorated with the Heather plate etching (#343).
It measures a little over 7”, at the highest point, and 9” from the handle to the tip of the ice lip spout.
The condition is excellent with no chips or nicks, and only a very few hairlines, which because of the plain design, are commonly found on Century pieces.
This beautifully etched jug is difficult to find and is certain to be a highlight in your collection.
