1989 Germany Vintage Hiking Days Medal - 6.IVV Wanderung TV 66 Rohrbach.  Preowned large heavy (alloy?) medal in good condition with some wear noted along the rims.  Produced and maker marked by E. Adelmann.
Commemorates General Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben, who reformed the Continental Army into a disciplined and professional fighting force.  Reverse of medal shows an interesting motif depicting Indians raiding German settlers in western America.  A rare find.  I have seen this medal listed elsewhere for 0.
